Electrician

Job Description:

• Perform installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment for assigned projects.
• Attend customer sites to diagnose, repair, or maintain electrical systems as part of ongoing service contracts or ad-hoc requests.
• Interpret technical drawings, plans, and schematics to carry out electrical work according to project specifications.
• Liaise with customers on-site to ensure clear understanding of work scope, updates, and post-service instructions.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
• Assist in planning and coordinating project tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Prepare accurate job reports, service documentation, and project completion documents.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues on-site.
• Support testing and troubleshooting during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Respond to emergency service calls when required.

• Perform other job responsibilities as and when assigned.

Requirements:

• At least NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical installation and field servicing.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially when dealing with customers on-site.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.

• Familiarity with project-based environments and working under tight deadlines.
