Job Description:

Overall purpose of job:

The SEAI IM Senior FP&A Analyst plays a vital role within the SEAI Finance team. This position is responsible for strategic plan, business decision support, forward looking analytics, management reviews and business planning and reporting. The position will collaborate closely with SEAI Finance and SEAI HQ, establishing strong relationships with Regional Finance and Tax/Treasury/GTAAS teams. Additionally, this role will provide ad-hoc support to Country FP&A (20% FTE) as necessary and require significant engagement in cross-functional projects.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Business Partnering

  • Foster strong partnership with SEAI Finance Team, SEAI HQ, Regional Finance and Corporate Finance.

  • Seamless collaboration with various finance teams (demonstrate one finance mindset/excellence) on cluster financial planning and update process, including reviewing country submissions, analyzing business performance, framing assumptions, identify challenges and opportunities, and prepare management review decks and recommendations for target setting.

  • Lead and perform regular and ad-hoc forward-looking analytics, collaborating closely with SEAI commercial excellence/TA leads to provide insights to SEAI management team in order to influence markets to improve brand performance, resource allocation and portfolio optimization

  • Drive process improvements, innovation, harmonization and simplification for SEAI cluster in line with SigniFi vision.

  • Overall responsibility of end-to-end financial planning, reporting and analysis including external partnership brands (CAR-T, Imbruvica, etc)

  • Monitor performance against business plan commitments

  • Participate actively in Regional Finance initiatives

Financial Planning & Review

  • Responsible for financial planning for LRFP, business plan, including market updates and trends. This involves overall coordination and consolidation, along with insightful financial analysis and scenario-thinking to drive strategic prioritization.

  • Lead the periodic financial performance reviews & budget variance analysis, providing an overview of performance to the Management team and regional leadership teams.

  • Actively contribute to commercial decision-making process, including target setting and resource allocation/trade-offs

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the J&J WW financial, HCBI, Business Conduct procedures and fostering accountability throughout the organization

People Management

  • Champion and promote collaboration among all Finance pillars

  • Demonstrate curiosity, ability to develop a perspective on business, influence outcomes and an agile learning attitude (test, learn and adapt)

Other Finance Strategic initiatives

  • Support the delivery of Global Finance agenda including SIGNIFI program.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to Country FP&A (20% FTE) as necessary

Essential knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in FP&A roles.

  • Familiarity with Anaplan, SigniFi, and SAP is an advantage.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office is required (PPT, EXCEL)

  • MBA / Professional certification (e.g. ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA) will be a plus.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills.

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous

  • Results orientated with a track record of financial and analytical skills.
