Job Summary
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Executive / Accountant to support the full spectrum of accounting activities for key subsidiaries and the regional holding company. This individual will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and support for business operations. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance and Accounting Operations
- Perform full set of accounts including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).
- Assist in monthly financial close and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure accurate group consolidation reporting.
- Support audit and tax filing processes by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Maintain fixed asset register, accruals, prepayments, and other relevant reconciliations.
2. Reporting and Analysis
- Assist in preparing management reports, variance analysis, and commentary on financial performance.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data and preparing working files.
- Help identify process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and internal controls.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
3. Business Support and Coordination
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including operations, procurement, and HR for financial data gathering and issue resolution.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support implementation and updates of financial systems and tools as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; audit background or experience in a multinational environment is a plus.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Candidate with Commodities experience has advantage
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
