26/06 Part-time Science Laboratory Assistant / School /Anchorvale Link

Contract Period : From 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Option to Extend :1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Working Hour：

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm , inclusive of 1hr lunch break (during school term)

• Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm , inclusive of 1hr lunch break (during school term)

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

• Working hours may be changed based on lesson schedule or school’s and national assessments provided by the teacher-in-charge.

• Personnel will be informed by the teacher-in-charge if services are required during the school holidays.
  

Scope of Services

The Services required are set out as follows:

• Helping to run science laboratories, including preparing apparatus and materials for experiments

• Support the operation, housekeeping and maintenance of the school’s science laboratory and science room

• Set up materials and equipment for experiments

• Provide support and assist teachers in lesson preparation

• Assist in procurement of science equipment, instrument and materials

• Monitoring schedule for teachers using science lab

• Assist in the school's research projects

• Perform data entry and updating the storage inventory systems

• Liaise with vendors or contractors for maintaining lab equipment and facilities

• Invigilate science practical assessments

Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements：

The Personnel should preferably have the following, skills and experience:

• Relevant expertise and work experience in school science laboratories.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• O-Level education certificate, able to speak and read English.

• Relevant experience in administration e.g. experience with use of MS Outlook (or equivalent e-mail software) and MS Office.
