Software Tester

Lead the QA strategy, planning, and execution for ETL and Data Warehousing projects

Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and workflows

Manage and mentor a team of testers across different phases of the project

Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on functional and technical specifications

Oversee and perform data validation, data transformation, and reconciliation testing

Write complex SQL queries for data verification across staging, transformation, and target layers

Ensure traceability of test cases to business and technical requirements

Drive defect management and ensure timely resolution

Track testing progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders

Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices

Participate in release planning and go-live support activities

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in software testing with a focus on ETL, Data Warehousing, and SQL

Strong knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or similar)

Proficient in writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation

Experience with data modeling concepts, data quality checks, and reporting tools

Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Proven experience in leading test teams and managing enterprise-level testing projects

Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
