Vice President

Work Week: 6 days per week

Working Hours: from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 1 pm Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit Portfolio Management: Overseeing the entire credit lifecycle, optimizing the portfolio, and conducting regular risk assessments.

• Credit Assessment and Approval: Leading and supervising credit assessments, participating in Credit Committees, and approving applications within the delegated authority.

• Policy and Framework Development: Developing and reviewing credit policies and procedures aligned with global standards.

• Risk Mitigation and Monitoring: Establishing early warning systems, managing problematic exposures, and collaborating on distressed asset recovery.

• Team Leadership and Development: Leading, mentoring, and developing the team in Singapore.

• Strategic Contribution: Providing credit risk insights, contributing to strategic planning, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Job Requirements:

• A deep understanding of specific product offerings (especially relevant for the fintech and supply chain finance sectors), as well as established credit processes, is invaluable.

• Established Relationships and Trust: Deep knowledge of capital ventures operations and relationships. Able to seamlessly integrate and build upon existing frameworks, ensuring continuity and alignment with the company’s culture and standards in a new market.

• Extensive Credit Risk Management Experience: A seasoned professional capable of handling the complexities of a new market with more than 10 years of progressive experience in credit risk management, with a significant portion in leadership.

• Proven Leadership and Team Development Skills: The ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team is crucial for building a team from the ground up in Singapore.

• Strategic Acumen: Proven expert in credit risk insights and contributing to the strategic planning and business development initiatives in the fintech and supply chain finance sectors.
