Software Engineer

Lead the planning, design, and execution of performance, load, stress, and scalability testing

Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to gather non-functional requirements

Define performance test strategies, scenarios, and metrics aligned with business goals

Design and develop automated performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling

Identify and analyze performance issues and bottlenecks at the application, database, and infrastructure layers

Provide detailed performance test reports and recommendations for tuning

Own performance testing activities across multiple projects or releases

Manage and mentor junior performance testers if part of the team

Support CI/CD integration of performance test scripts where applicable

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in software testing with at least 4+ years in performance testing

Strong knowledge of performance metrics (e.g., response time, throughput, CPU/memory usage)

Experience in scripting, parameterization, correlation, and test data management

Proficiency in analyzing server logs, monitoring tools, and APM dashboards

Good understanding of network latency, web/app/database servers, and cloud environments

Experience in CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into DevOps workflows

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in testing cloud-native or microservices-based applications

Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud performance tuning (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience in scripting with Python, Shell, or Groovy
