Job PurposeIn this role, you will be part of the Group Collections, Platform Services and Product Controls team that is responsible for driving business development and solutioning for innovative and scalable client propositions. You will be focusing specifically on the merchant solutions and collections business across the region.As a product manager for Merchant Solutions, you will be responsible for business development, product development and also governance related aspects of the product portfolio. In addition to leveraging existing solutions to drive new business growth, robustness of the product development roadmap would need to be achieved such that both commercial and strategic objectives are met.Key AccountabilitiesBusiness Development: * Achieve growth targets and business metrics identified for Merchant Solutions across the region* Tailor client propositions and approach for positioning of Merchant Solutions to each market’s nuances such that new areas of growth can be identified* Drive solutioning of digital client journeys incorporating Merchant Solutions and other adjacent transactional products and capabilities* Collaborate with client facing colleagues to identify and implement new opportunities pertaining to Merchant Solutions* Collaborate with Sales & Marketing partners to develop customer value propositions, marketing collaterals and training materialsProduct Development: * Identify user requirements and features to deliver superior client journeys as part of product development roadmap* Work with Technology & Operations partners to execute tech builds, testing and deployments to ensure timely delivery of desired client journeys and solutions* Identify and operationalise areas of optimisation with regards to ease and speed of client implementationProduct Governance: * Drive conversations with control functions to improve client onboarding journeys and governance frameworks* Review and ensure proper processes and controls are in place for risk mitigation and compliance with applicable policies and regulations* Keep abreast of new capabilities and features in the market pertaining to consumer payments and merchant collections service provision by financial institutions* Perform regular competitive landscape analysis including pricing, services, features et al. to ensure effective product positioning and relevanceJob Requirements* 8-10 years of relevant working experience* Experience in working on Cash Management solutions* Strong knowledge of cross-border and domestic collections and payment schemes with good grasp of latest developments in the payments and collections space* Strong market research, analytical, & problem-solving skills, able to address business specific issues through obtaining & analysing data, to validate opportunities, and also push user adoption and growth* Strong track record in client engagement and stakeholder management in driving business development and commercialisation* Excellent communication, coordination and relationship building skills, with experience working in cross functional and cross location projects* Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-moving and high-growth environment, and possess creative problem-solving skills* High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and good understanding of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Qlikview et al.
