  • To take over advanced product quality responsibility as part of the project team during new product development and introduction (NPD & NPI) stage by acting as a primary quality representative to internal and external customers.
  • To drive and lead quality risk assessment and risk management throughout the project phase, including definition, preparation and execution of prequalification, qualification, robustness validation and safe launch activities with support of internal and external laboratories.
  • To act as a contact window for other quality functions including quality operations, supplier quality, failure analysis, reliability, etc, and drive for the Quality Control Concepts for MP
  • To develop failure analysis methodologies as required for assigned projects to enable rapid problem solving with support of internal and external laboratories
  • Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in material sciences, physics, chemistry, electronics or related disciplines
  • More than 5 years of experience in front end product engineering/integration/quality. Module packaging process, reliability and failure analysis and quality management experience are required.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills including data analysis, data mining/interpretation, etc.
  • Well versed on quality tools, including 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, Lean Six Sigma
  • Strong customer interface skills, including fluency in written and spoken English, are required to liaise with global internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred, as the role involves communicating with customers from China.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment, including stay cool and work efficiently under pressure.
  • > 3 years on the project management experience or similar experience to coordinate the cross functional team is a plus.
  • Management experience in technical function areas preferred.
