Coating/Paint Inspector @Jurong Island

EPC Power Plants , you will oversee coating quality and compliance across all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning). Your role ensures corrosion protection and longevity of critical power plant infrastructure (e.g., boilers, pipelines, structural steel).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of surface preparation, coating application, and dry film thickness for power plant EPC projects, adhering to ISO, SSPC, and NACE standards.

• Verify coating specifications align with turnkey contract requirements (e.g., FIDIC, client-specific technical datasheets).

• Perform QA/QC checks (adhesion, holiday testing) and document compliance for handover to clients.

• Liaise with EPC contractors, engineers, and procurement teams to resolve coating-related issues during construction.

• Support commissioning and final inspection to ensure coatings meet operational and safety standards for power plants.

• Travel to project sites (local/regional) as needed, including outages or emergency repairs.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of coating inspection experience in power plants, oil & gas, or heavy industrial EPC projects.

• Certifications: NACE Level 2+ or FROSIO; familiarity with ASME, ASTM, or IMO PSPC is a plus.

• Proven ability to interpret EPC contract documents, P&IDs, and coating specifications.

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional EPC teams (engineers, contractors, clients).

• Willingness to work full-time on power plant sites, including occasional overtime during critical phases.
