Site Manager

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop and implement project schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and labor are available as needed.

2. Health & Safety Compliance

• Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations (OSHA, local laws).
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure all workers have proper safety training and PPE.

3. Quality Control

• Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Address defects or non-compliance issues promptly.

4. Budget & Cost Management

• Track project expenses and avoid cost overruns.
• Approve contractor invoices and manage procurement.
• Report financial progress to senior management.

5. Team & Stakeholder Management

• Supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
• Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth communication.

6. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project milestones and update schedules.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Identify and mitigate delays.

7. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure permits and licenses are obtained.
• Follow environmental and building regulations.
• Manage documentation (contracts, change orders, as-built drawings).

8. Problem-Solving & Risk Management

• Address unforeseen issues (material shortages).
• Implement contingency plans when needed.

9. Handover & Closeout

• Ensure all work meets client expectations before handover.
• Oversee final inspections and snagging lists.
Ensure proper documentation (warranties) is provided

Requirements

1.Possess a recognized Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering with at least eight years of relevant experience.

2.Have experience working on projects involving high-voltage cables.

3.Fluent in English and Mandarin – Ability to communicate technical instructions, safety protocols, and project details with multinational teams, clients.

4.Willing to relocate to different project sites as required.

5.Physically fit and accustomed to working under harsh weather conditions (heat, rain).
