Senior Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  

• Minimum 10 years of mechanical design experience, with a strong background in product development from concept to production.
  

• Software Skill: Strong 2D knowledge in AutoCAD, and 3D knowledge in Solidworks
  

• 5 years’ experience in sheet metal development and fabrication knowledge (e.g., CNC machining, Welding, sheet metal fabrication)
  

• Knowledge in various process for component making
  

• Understanding bill of materials as stated in the assembly drawing
  

• Experience in systems development, mechanical design, and small-scale production
  

• Skilled in fostering collaboration and building strong working relationships with both internal teams and external
  

• Strong organizational skills
  

• Excellent attention to detail
  

• An abundance of patience to see a complicated project to end
  

• Ability to think in a three-dimensional manner
