Senior M&E Tender Engineer

About the role

Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Engineer (M&E) to join our Business Development team in the Central Region. This full-time role will be responsible for providing engineering expertise to support the company's tender and business development activities, playing a crucial part in the strategic growth of our civil and structural engineering operations.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the preparation of technical proposals and tender submissions for new projects, ensuring high-quality and compliant deliverables
• Conduct in-depth analysis of project requirements, technical specifications and site conditions to develop innovative engineering solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and secure new contracts
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practices to inform the company's strategic direction
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to build a strong, capable team

What we're looking for

• Qualified Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with PEB
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in Infrastructure Underground Construction projects
• Proven track record in preparing successful tenders and proposals for complex engineering projects
• Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in civil/structural engineering disciplines
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate technical requirements into viable business solutions
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with clients and internal teams
• Proficiency in the use of engineering design software and tools
• Familiarity with local and international engineering standards and regulations
