Summary:
Ensure seamless coordination and execution of import and export trade activities across Africa markets.
Ensuring good pricing coordination, operational troubleshooting, and providing critical support to export trade teams.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Support for Export Trade Teams (60%)

Filing and Pricing Coordination

Provide timely support to both West Africa and East Africa export teams on pricing submissions and system filing.

Ensure consistency in rate updates, avoiding discrepancies or delays.

Assist in ad hoc export projects, ensuring alignment with strategic pricing objectives.

Collaborate with trade managers to ensure pricing and operational strategies are aligned with market demands.

Support trade strategy discussions with detailed performance reports and action plans.

2. Imports: West & East Africa to Asia (40%)

Pricing Management

Ensure accuracy in rate submissions and pricing coordination for imports.

Monitor market conditions and provide insights to optimize pricing competitiveness.

Work closely with Africa Export Team (HO) to coordinate the actions/ pricing.

Proactively tackle Operational issue and troubleshooting (allocation / feeder cost change / ...)

Act as a point of escalation , collaborating with relevant internal teams to ensure timely resolutions.

Coordinate business development / Bid offer negotiated on FOB basis

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum a Diploma Holder from Maritime, Business or any other relevant background of studies with 3 years of working experience in similar field

Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply

Proficient in MS Excel (Vlookup and Pivot Table)

Knowledge in Africa trade will be an advantage

Have a problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges effectively and efficiently
