Job Description & Requirements

  • Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of projects, or function, including developing and monitoring budgets, coordinating activities with other sub-contractors
  • Plan the work schedule and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines
  • Liaise with consultants and/or sub-contractors engaged on the project
  • Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
  • Monitor and ensure subcontractors comply with specified requirements
  • ldentify and comply with all applicable statutory regulatory requirements related to project
  • Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks
  • Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies and other problems
  • Clear communication to external parties including client, subcontractors, consultants, vendors etc. on project needs, requirements and schedule by means of daily construction oversight
  • Review all method statement of the activities ensuring safe execution and maximization of resources used for job efficient
  • Prepare monthly site report updating the latest progress and planning to achieve the project milestone
  • Complete task as assigned by Project Manager and Project Director

Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • At least 7 years of engineering experience in the related field is required for this position
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing civil and infrastructure construction work for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the safety and timely delivery of large-scale projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Willing to work at site office
  • Experience in LTA infrastructure project will be preferred
