Job Summary

This role requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit, deep market knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving profitable growth in diverse and dynamic markets.


Responsible for overall leadership of regional operations to best in class standards. Provides the environment where continuous improvement and safety first culture can thrive. Collaborates effectively with Commercial and Sales teams to ensure market growth strategy and plans are achievable and takes responsibility for providing excellent customer experience throughout operational delivery, taking an active role in managing and deepening the customer relationship.

Sets regional priorities, analyses performance, motivates people to deliver and drives operational excellence. Delivers efficiency, appropriate margin and EBITDA, client retention.


Duties and responsibilities

  • As part of the Marine Leadership Team, plays a key role in defining overall business strategy, and is responsible for executing operational strategy within region.
  • Leads operational delivery against the Quote-to-Cash process, driving P&L performance and business growth for the region.
  • Sets, manages and executes all capital and operational plans to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget. Maintains compliance and control of all operations within regional remit.
  • Leads a multiple site regional operation, delivering a diverse range of customer services. Ensures appropriate maintenance, quality and health and safety in all sites.
  • Maintains in-depth industry knowledge and works collaboratively with functional teams to take advantage of expert specialist knowledge and ensure operations comply with all legislation, regulation and best practice advice.
  • Evaluates operational performance, identifies opportunity for improvement, drives performance and ensures corrective action is instigated where needed.
  • Represents the business in strategically important customers, to deepen and strengthen Survitec’s customer relationships.
  • Supports in-region high level customer negotiations as needed and represents the business at trade events and industry conferences.
  • Identifies way to improve operational performance, including identifying opportunities to increase revenue, reducing costs, improving margin and ensuring the voice of the customer is represented in service design.
  • Ensures the performance framework recognises safety, best practice, continuous improvement, quality, health and safety and innovation Financial reporting.
  • Selects, develops, leads and manages highly productive teams, ensuring everyone understands how their individual and team effort contributes to meeting customer needs and the overall success of the business.
  • Leads the people within region, ensuring every colleague has personal development reviews and development plans. Identifies and champions talent, creates succession plans and recognises success.
  • Develops the regional organisational blueprint to optimise regional business performance.
  • Communicates effectively with leadership team, regional management, colleagues and customers

Experience and qualification

  • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior management or Managing Director role, specifically overseeing multiple countries or regions.
  • Demonstrable track record of successful P&L management and driving significant business growth in the APEC and/or Middle East markets.
  • Experience working in a multinational company with a complex matrix structure is highly desirable.
