General Summary

This role is responsible for leading planning processes within the business segment, with a focus on plant-based scheduling and raw material MRP. It drives end-to-end accountability for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) across demand and supply reviews, ensuring effective supply chain planning, execution, and design. The position partners closely with Operations Management and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to balance customer service excellence, cost efficiency, and working capital optimization.


How You Will Help Connect the World

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Business Units and Operations for global planning activities.
  • Lead the design and publication of periodic reports on forecasts, inventory, and operations performance.
  • Facilitate and own Supply Review meetings to align demand and supply, enabling cross-functional decision-making.
  • Track and ensure completion of action items from supply planning discussions.
  • Collaborate with Operations to manage capacity in line with the consensus forecast and optimize utilization.
  • Resolve escalated issues to remove bottlenecks in the supply chain.
  • Analyze and set inventory targets at global and plant levels; monitor and report excess inventory.
  • Monitor cross-functional KPIs to ensure a robust IBP process.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives by partnering with Engineering, Sales, and PLM to accelerate time-to-market.
  • Mentor and support local planners to build planning capabilities.
  • Travel globally as needed to support planning and operational alignment.


Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum four years) with 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end supply chain strategy and planning.
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting and analytical tools to challenge unconstrained forecasts.
  • Proficiency in SAP and production control systems.
  • APICS certification preferred; CPIM and CSCP certifications are desirable.
  • Solid background in master scheduling, procurement, and supply chain planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results and drive accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaboration, conflict resolution, and team empowerment.
