We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is crucial in supporting the Head Chef and Executive Chef in delivering exceptional Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of culinary experience, with a strong background in Italian food and proper food safety certifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef and Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes, ensuring consistent excellence.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to uphold our restaurant's high standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and execute exciting new menu items and daily specials.
  • Support inventory management and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and promptly report any maintenance requirements.
  • Contribute to menu planning and participate in cost control efforts.
  • Maintain a pristine and organized kitchen environment at all times.
  • Step in for the Head Chef or Executive Chef when they are absent, effectively overseeing all kitchen operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of culinary experience with a strong emphasis on Italian cuisine.
  • Proven supervisory abilities and experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
