Responsibilities:

  • Supports the objectives set for data and information management of the Offshore Business Unit.
  • Ensures Accurate, Complete Project Data: e.g. develop and maintain a central engineering database including all multi-disciplinary equipment data.
  • Establishes Governance & Standards for EPCI Data: e.g. implement (CFIHOS) instructions and/or guidelines to ensure uniform asset data structure and consistency across OBU and the project lifecycle.
  • Enhances Project Efficiency: reduce rework, errors, and manual data entry by automating processes.
  • Responsible for Digital Transformation on Asset Management: e.g. implementing Digital Twin using (Aveva AIM) to maintain real-time asset condition monitoring.
  • Supports the development of standardized Document Management System (ProArc).
  • Close collaboration with the Engineering Information and Application Systems discipline, engineering disciplines and/or the Digital Transformation team.
  • Manages OBU’s Information Management and Governance by establishing IM policies and procedures.
  • Establishes a unified approach to managing and handing over project information that supports safe, efficient, and compliant execution of the projects.
  • Supports the development of OBU’s Information Management strategies, Data Lake (Digital Twin) for contextualized data handling and DMS (ProArc) for structured document control.
  • Aligns IM with project phases: Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Pre-Operations and Operations ensuring seamless information flow from engineering to operations.
  • Defines integrated information workflows between contractors, vendors, and client.
  • Implements shared access environments with role-based permissions.
  • Manages document controllers, data stewards, and platform specialists.
  • Ensures clear responsibility for data accuracy, updates, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensures compliance with CFIHOS, Client and contractual information and data requirements.
  • Enables real-time dashboards, analytics, and digital twin updates for reporting.
  • Monitors data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and duplication through dashboards.
  • Maintains a structured, centralized register of all project tags (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) associated with equipment, lines, and systems.
  • Manages final handover of project documentation delivered electronically, structured, and indexed.
  • Supports real-time operational insight, predictive maintenance, and lifecycle analysis.

- Supports OBU Systems architecture development built upon a unified industrial data platform which is Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) connecting data from: -

o Engineering design system (Aveva Unified)

o Document Management System (ProArc)

o ERP and maintenance systems (SAP)

o Project Planning and Control Tools (Primavera)

o Supply Chain Management System (Oracle Fusion Procurement)

  • Ensures high-quality, contextual, and compliant information is available for all stakeholders, enabling effective decision-making, collaboration, and operational continuity.
  • Manages OBU’s reporting dashboard ensuring consistent corporate, project, and client reporting.
  • Manages OBU resource data and its resource capacity planning enabling OBU to plan ahead for resource identification, allocation, and planning supporting project execution.

Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT / Computer Science, or a related field, MBA is added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years and above of experience in Information and Data Management, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Offshore industry including data management system and tool usage, development and management experience.
  • Strong understanding how ERP, SAP, Data platform, Cloud systems works and strong trend insights in system digitalization and integration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment and effectively manage ambiguity and changes.
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with existing Hanwha Ocean work culture.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
