Lead (Organisation Development)
Job Purpose
Care Corner is one of the largest non-profit organisations in Singapore, offering a wide spectrum of social and healthcare services to improve the lives of children, youths, families, and seniors in vulnerable situations and from disadvantaged backgrounds. As the needs of our service users evolve, Care Corner constantly looks for new ways to enhance the effectiveness of our services. Our Innovation Squad is an in-house team that works in close collaboration with our business groups to design and build services and digital products for social impact. You will be working closely with a Design Lead, Tech Lead and Product Lead, as part of an experienced group of experts bringing in new capabilities and ways of working. You will be part of one of the first teams in Singapore to use design, tech, product management and OD, to solve for the most complex social issues and bring about meaningful change. As an OD Lead, you create the space for teams to develop the most innovative solutions by transforming how they work together. We believe that the innovation projects we do are invaluable opportunities to practise new ways of working and collaboration. A strong track record in project and change management, stakeholder alignment, and systems transformation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and service change initiatives, including those related to reorganisations, ensuring a smooth transition of structures, people, and cultures.
- Drive post-reorganisation integration efforts, aligning leadership vision, values, and operating models across the affected teams / entities.
- Design and implement service transformation strategies in collaboration with partners and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate user workshops to surface insights, ideate solutions, and prototype new approaches and models.
- Guide project and service teams in testing, learning, and scaling approaches that are viable and user-centred.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of transformation projects, from problem intent framing to full implementation.
- Direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve clear outputs and measurable outcomes.
- Utilise structured project management approaches, where appropriate to track progress and ensure accountability.
- Support senior leaders through complex change journeys, helping them reflect on and shift behaviours to support a more agile and collaborative culture.
- Lead end-user engagement and adoption efforts, particularly in contexts (internal and external) involving service redesign, organisational restructure, or cultural change.
- Develop and implement communication plans, engagement toolkits, and capability-building resources to build change readiness and support sustainable adoption.
Requirements
Competencies & Experiences
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational sensing
- Proficient in systems thinking with the ability to identify interdependencies and pre-empt issues
- Ability to apply appropriate change concepts and techniques based on context
- Experienced people leader and developer with a knack for developing healthy interpersonal relations and team dynamics
- Strong project management capabilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Strong communication skills to effectively influence partners, peers and senior management
- Facilitation skills to support collaboration with a range of stakeholders in the ecosystem
- Proactive, with a purposeful drive to get things done and the tenacity to persist through challenges and obstacles
QUALIFICATIONS
- Eight or more years of relevant practice experience in the area of leading transformative change, organisation development and/or the development of innovative programmes
- Practical work experience and/or exposure to technology and digital transformation would be an advantage
