As Assistant Manager/ Manager, you will support the Directors in operationalising TriGen’s mission and laying the foundation for a strong, future-ready team. You will play a central role in shaping internal systems, leading implementation, and stewarding organisational development.


Key Responsibilities


1. Establishing Foundational Structures

  • Support the setup of operational systems across legal, governance, HR, finance, and administration.
  • Build internal infrastructure, including IT systems, workflow processes, and communication channels.
  • Lead the development of branding and communication materials for outreach and partnerships.
  • Provide coordination and documentation for governance and compliance matters.

2. Driving Strategy and Execution

  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and track progress.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring cross-functional coordination and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate team meetings and follow up on workstream deliverables.
  • Supervise and coach junior staff and interns as delegated.
  • Contribute to reports, proposals, and documentation for funders, partners, and regulators.

3. Organisation Development and Learning

  • Shape a values-driven, collaborative team culture aligned with TriGen’s mission.
  • Lead internal learning processes across medical, social, and youth development domains.
  • Support strategic planning and knowledge management efforts.

4. Programme Design and Partnerships

  • Lead the co-design of intergenerational programmes with Medical Leads and partners.
  • Ensure alignment with clinical, social, and youth development outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and cross-sector collaboration.
  • Develop scalable implementation frameworks and protocols.

5. Volunteer Management

  • Design and oversee volunteer engagement strategies for youth and seniors.
  • Supervise volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and development.
  • Strengthen volunteer experience, retention, and leadership.
  • Implement a volunteer leadership framework to build internal capacity.

6. Training and Development

  • Design and deliver training modules for youth volunteers
  • Facilitate training sessions and reflections to support volunteer development and programme alignment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure clinical relevance.
  • Lead training evaluations, gather feedback, and iterate content to ensure continuous improvement and learning impact.

7. Project Implementation and Evaluation

  • Lead project planning and delivery across multiple sites.
  • Resolve operational challenges and ensure quality execution.
  • Oversee data collection, outcome evaluation, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Use findings to refine programme strategy and design.

8. Fundraising and Donor Management

  • Support the development and execution of a fundraising strategy.
  • Identify funding opportunities and contribute to proposals, grant applications, and reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors.
  • Manage donor engagement systems and communications.

Requirements

  • Values: Deep commitment to intergenerational work, community well-being, and the holistic development of both youth and seniors.
  • Qualifications: Degree in social work, public health, community development, healthcare, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in programme development, volunteer management, community engagement, or operations in the social or healthcare sectors.
  • Training & Facilitation: Confident in delivering training sessions and facilitating group reflections or discussions. Experience in designing and adapting training content for youth or community settings is strongly preferred.
  • Leadership: Strong project management and team coordination skills. Experience supervising staff, volunteers, or interns is an advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to represent TriGen professionally in both internal and external settings.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and partnerships across sectors—including healthcare, youth development, and social services.
  • Work Schedule : Willingness to work on some weekday evenings and weekends to support volunteer engagement, programme delivery, and stakeholder meetings. A time-off system will be in place to ensure adequate rest and work-life balance.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with basic data entry, volunteer databases, or comms tools (e.g. Canva) would be helpful.
