- Assist in supervising daily cashflow planning for the Group’s subsidiaries with objective of reducing financing costs and idle funds
- Coordinate with treasury desks of various Group Subsidiaries to obtain, validate and analyze their short-term and long-term liquidity requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive treasury updates and decks for management reviews and decision making
- Initiate/assist in treasury process improvement initiatives including automation
- Ensure Treasury operation compliance with all relevant internal control procedures, regulatory requirements, etc.
- Coordinate organising monthly Treasury meetings of representatives from various subsidiaries
- Any other ad-hoc tasks
Job requirement:
- Degree in Economics, Banking, Finance, Business, Accounting or ACCA or CIMA or equivalent
- Minimum 5-10 years’ relevant working experience in Treasury, preferably focused on daily cash flow planning for multiple subsidiaries, by understanding how their trade financing facilities in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia work.
- Preference to candidates having (i) domain experience in cash flow management through efficient planning on utilisation of working capital bank lines (ii) basic knowledge of banking facility documentation to protect organization’s interest (iii) basic knowledge of AML and Sanction related compliances required by banks (iv) experience in managing banking relationships and cashflows for Malaysia based businesses.
- Good analytical skills with hands on proficiency in MS Excel, Pivot, Power BI etc
- Ability to work in a high paced, demanding environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple time zones, whenever needed.
- A team player who is self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills
