RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and data teams to understand analytical needs and translate them into meaningful insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights that support business decision-making.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
• Assist in maintaining and improving data pipelines in collaboration with data engineers to ensure reliable and timely data delivery.
• Work with cloud-based data environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) to access and analyze structured and semi-structured data.
• Participate in data quality checks, validation efforts, and root cause analysis for data inconsistencies.
• Support data governance practices, including basic documentation, data cataloging, and ensuring consistent data definitions.
• Contribute to light data modeling activities such as organizing data for analysis, recommending enhancements to schema design for reporting needs.
• Provide recommendations on data usage, query optimization, and best practices to improve reporting performance and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, or data management roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (especially PostgreSQL, MS-SQL ) and solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS RDS PostgreSQL MS-SQL, Redshift, or Azure SQL) for querying and analysis.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline concepts; experience collaborating with data engineers or using lightweight tools (e.g., dbt, Talend).
• Understanding of data governance fundamentals, including data quality, documentation, and metadata management.
• Comfortable working with large and complex datasets from multiple sources to perform data wrangling and analysis.
• Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate data into business insights.
