Job Description:
The Senior HR Business Partner is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for proactively supporting the design and implementation of strategies relating to HR and also provides general HR support.
This role is required to have comprehensive technical HR specialist knowledge in order to expertly provide advice and answers to escalated queries related to their area of responsibility and/or stakeholder group.
This role fosters good relationships by acting as an extension of the relevant stakeholder group and is responsible for keeping the relevant management team updated on the HR programs being implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively supports the design, development and execution of full cycle recruitment plans and talent sourcing strategies.
- Reviews, updates and analyzes business unit data to identify trends and recommends solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
- Supports the creation of effective employee relations, retention and rewards programs.
- Contributes to the design and implementation of initiatives relating to the recruitment, development, engagement and general HR support of employees in the area of responsibility and/or stakeholder group.
- Acts as a consultative business partner to the assigned stakeholder group by advising them of trends in HR practices, the labor market and general developments that could impact on the human resources in the area of responsibility.
- Executes all the programs developed by the relevant HR / CoE team in the assigned stakeholder group.
- Acts as an anchor for change by driving the organization and management to accept and initiate change.
- Assist with the implementation of more HR programs as required by the organization.
- Ensures that all employees are mapped to the correct organizational job profile and continuously ensures alignment to the job architectures to drive effective employee metrics.
- Assists in the deployment, management and measurement of learning and development programs.
- Proactively supports the compilation of talent pipelines, executes targeted recruitment campaigns for prospective employees and supports any other initiatives required to effectively recruit for the area of responsibility.
- Contributes to driving the on-going engagement of employees in the assigned stakeholder group through communication, information sharing and knowledge management.
- Undertakes regular reviews of data and trends to understand performance and productivity drivers in the relevant employee base.

- Advanced knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
- Advanced expertise in performance appraisal processes, goal setting, and performance improvement techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of recruitment strategies, candidate sourcing, and selection methods to attract and retain top talent.
- Ability to handle complex employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.
- Advanced understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of compensation principles and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable rewards for employees.
- Advanced expertise in identifying training needs and developing learning programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Capacity to think strategically and align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in managing organizational change and leading change initiatives.
- Ability to make informed and data-driven decisions that impact HR and organizational outcomes.
- Extended skills in using HR data and metrics to derive insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
- Advanced ability to influence and persuade senior leaders to gain support for HR initiatives.
- Eagerness to stay updated with the latest HR trends, industry best practices, and professional development.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Human Resources or a related field.
Required experience:
- Advanced demonstrated experience in similar senior HRBP role preferably gained within a global IT organization.
- Advanced experience developing and implementing HR strategy and policy.
- Advanced demonstrated experience working in partnership with a range of stakeholders including managers, trade unions, employees and external partners.
- Advanced demonstrated experience managing conflict and sensitive issues and achieving positive outcomes
- Advanced demonstrated experience developing and managing change projects and programs.
- Advanced demonstrated experience in HR technologies including experience in HRIS, LMS, e-Recruitment and Payroll systems.
