Project Engineer

Job Description:

• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, construction, QA/QC).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Liaise with design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization efforts.
• Monitor material delivery schedules to align with project timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to plans.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Monitor progress against milestones and report delays.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, company policies).
• Ensure proper handover documentation (as-built drawings, manuals).
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients and contractors.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates.
• Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot technical and logistical challenges.
• Implement corrective actions for non-conformities.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or equuivalent.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience as Project Engineer in construction.
