Tiler/Plasterer Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking for a hardworking and reliable Tiler/Plasterer Assistant to support our tiling and plastering works across various construction sites. You will assist in surface preparation, material handling, application support, and general site duties. This role is suitable for individuals keen on building their skills in the construction trade with hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing surfaces for tiling and plastering (e.g., cleaning, leveling, priming)

• Mix adhesives, plaster, cement, and other materials as required

• Carry, load, and position tiles, plaster, and tools for the tradesman

• Cut and shape tiles under supervision

• Apply grout and clean up excess after tile installation

• Help apply plaster coats under guidance (e.g., base coat, finishing coat)

• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of tools and work areas

• Support with site clean-up and waste removal

• Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the tiler/plasterer or site supervisor
  

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge or experience in construction work is preferred

• Physically fit and able to handle labor-intensive tasks

• Willingness to learn and take instructions

• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Safety-conscious with a responsible attitude
  

Additional Information:

• Work is mostly site-based, across various locations

• Overtime or weekend work may be required based on project needs
