What You'll Be Doing:
As a Desktop Support Engineer, your role will involve:
  • Resolving technical issues escalated from the helpdesk, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems while maintaining top-tier customer service.
  • Hands-on support for desktop and end-user technologies, including laptops, mobile devices, video conferencing tools, remote access, and more.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals (monitors, keyboards, mice), and network equipment (routers, switches).
  • Providing Smart Hands support for network hardware, routers, firewalls, and racks, following remote instructions from senior engineers.
  • Managing incidents and service requests from customers, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Supporting software and OS deployments (MS Office, antivirus software) using tools like MSCM, WDS, or MDM solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Expertise in desk-side support and PC break/fix, with basic administration of Windows operating systems.
  • Strong communication skills in English (other languages may be beneficial).
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of wireless networking and understanding of network protocols.
  • Physical ability to lift 20-40kg of equipment and stand or kneel for extended periods, if required.
