This Position reports to:
Local Division Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking meaningful work that drives real impact.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid
- Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work (SoW) growth actions.
- Understand the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment and interprets the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.
- Participate in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans of the customer.
- Define and propose sales targets for the account and ensures their achievement through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries.
- Sell products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets, representing ABB, overall.
- Create added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, sales planning, and issue resolution).
- Monitor competitors’ activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
- Provide input on market price developments.
- Drive application of standardized marketing & sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, , etc.) for the account.
Qualifications for the Role
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering discipline
- At least 2 years of Sales experience in Automation or relevant industries
- Possess valid Class 3 driving license
