Position Overview:
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to lead the development of robust and scalable backend systems that power our DeFi applications. You will play a key role in designing secure APIs, integrating blockchain components, and ensuring high system performance. This position is ideal for engineers with a deep understanding of distributed systems, backend architecture, and blockchain technology.

Location:

• Remote: Shenzhen or Chengdu (1 position)
• Hybrid: San Francisco Bay Area (1 position)
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services for DeFi applications.
• Build and maintain APIs that support frontend applications, smart contracts, and third-party services.
• Work closely with frontend and smart contract engineers to ensure seamless integration across the full stack.
• Optimize backend architecture for fast and efficient data handling in a distributed environment.
• Conduct code reviews and address performance, reliability, and security issues proactively.
Stay current with backend best practices and DeFi infrastructure developments

Requirements:

• 3+ years of backend development experience, with strong proficiency in Java .
• Experience with Node.js , Go , or equivalent backend frameworks.
• Deep understanding of blockchain systems and familiarity with smart contracts and DeFi protocols.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases and managing data in distributed systems.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining backend APIs and microservices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
