Quantity surveyor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ø Report to contract manager and liaise with site manager/engineer on quantity and pricing issue.

Ø Responsible for quantity take off and cost estimation of civil and building projects.

Ø Office-based but will go on site visits to keep track of the progression of the project with regards to quantity and variation claims.

Ø Preparation of quotation submission and follow up with tender clarifications and interview.

Ø Preparation and resolution of progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.

Ø Liaise with Client on all contractual issues especially in measurement and VO verification.

Ø Handle other assigned duties or related job as required.

Requirements:

Ø Candidate should possess at least Diploma in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.

Ø At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in QS and construction related fields.

Ø Knowledge in civil structure specifications and construction contract conditions.

Ø Preferably have local construction experiences in rebar measurement.

Ø Skill in MS office, preferably with basic knowledge of AUTOCAD software.

Ø Independent and attentive, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Ø Liaise with Contract manger or project’s team.
