Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies across Jamiyah’s services and programs.
- Create compelling written content for print, web, email, blogs, speeches, scripts, and press releases.
- Prepare and distribute media materials including press releases, media kits, and media invites.
- Liaise and maintain positive relationships with media representatives; manage on-site media coverage.
- Monitor media coverage and trends related to Jamiyah and the non-profit sector.
- Assist in the coordination of organizational publications and communication materials.
- Collaborate with departments across Jamiyah to ensure consistent messaging and coverage.
- Conduct market research to define target audiences, evaluate industry trends, and assess campaign performance.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies for both digital and traditional media.
- Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations for marketing & communication initiatives and campaigns.
- Create and schedule engaging social media content including static posts, videos, reels, and live updates.
- Manage social media platforms and monitor KPIs such as engagement, reach, and follower growth.
- Execute and track email and messaging campaigns (e.g. SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, EDMs).
- Optimize website content and ensure updates reflect current events and initiatives.
- Apply SEO/SEM best practices and analyze web traffic data using tools like Google Analytics.
- Support on-site event marketing and media coverage; assist in event logistics and coordination. Perform other communications or marketing-related duties as assigned by the HOD or Senior Management
Requirements
- Degree in marketing and/or communications preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in marketing and/or communications, developing and implementing digital marketing strategies.
- Experience in events management will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent research and writing skills. Willing to work beyond normal working hours and weekends, if required
