Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations
- Manage staff scheduling and performance
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory and stock levels
- Achieve sales targets and manage budgets
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising
- Customer Service: Greet and welcome guests warmly as they enter the restaurant. Provide menu information, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Order Taking and Service: Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen. Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure all orders are correct.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining area clean and organized.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process customer payments, handle cash, and provide change as needed.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, fellow service crew, and management to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and drink pairings, to answer customer inquiries.
- Upselling: Encourage guests to try signature dishes, beverages, or desserts to enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or restaurant settings is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20kg.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
