Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations
  • Manage staff scheduling and performance
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory and stock levels
  • Achieve sales targets and manage budgets
  • Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising
  • Customer Service: Greet and welcome guests warmly as they enter the restaurant. Provide menu information, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Order Taking and Service: Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen. Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure all orders are correct.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining area clean and organized.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process customer payments, handle cash, and provide change as needed.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, fellow service crew, and management to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and drink pairings, to answer customer inquiries.
  • Upselling: Encourage guests to try signature dishes, beverages, or desserts to enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or restaurant settings is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and a strong desire to help others.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20kg.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
