[What you will be working on]
The Manager/Senior Manager in the Corporate Planning Office within SkillsFuture Singapore’s Strategic Planning Division is an individual contributor role focused on strategizing and planning corporate strategies that align with the whole-of-agency direction. This position involves conceptualizing, tracking, and reporting corporate KPIs to ensure long-term targets remain on track, driving collaboration with Workforce Singapore (WSG), and overseeing the SSG Board portfolio. The incumbent will also perform secretariat duties for key meeting platforms, requiring a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of engaging stakeholders and synthesizing complex information.
The Senior Manager level will be expected to handle work of greater complexity and manage additional projects.
Strategic Planning & Direction
Strategize and plan short-to-medium term corporate strategies, aligning whole-of-agency direction to map out year-on-year priorities
Drive collaboration with sister agency Workforce Singapore (WSG) to strengthen the Jobs-Skills nexus with joint strategies, workstreams, and indicators
Performance Management & Reporting
Conceptualize, track, and report corporate KPIs to ensure SSG’s longer-term targets remain on track
Plan and oversee the SSG Board portfolio, including the selection, appointment, and renewal of members to advise on and support strategic direction and corporate priorities
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Engage with various stakeholders and drive fruitful collaborations
Perform secretariat duties for key meeting platforms
Information Synthesis & Communication
Synthesize a broad range of information with an eye for detail, structuring and substantiating findings using both written and visual formats
Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form
[What we are looking for]
Possess the required competencies to execute the job duties proficiently
Manager: Up to 6 years of relevant work experience in corporate planning. Those with no relevant experience but have been involved in relevant projects or short stints in similar areas / functions can apply
Senior Manager: At least 6 years of relevant work experience in corporate planning
Strong ability to synthesise and communicate complex information effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities, at times under tight deadlines and with ambiguity
Proven experience in engaging stakeholders and driving fruitful collaborations
Resourcefulness and a strong drive to achieve results
Ability to anticipate needs and make informed judgement calls within the scope of responsibilities
Prior experience in organization development (OD) and data analytics is advantageous
Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure.
