About Sinologistics Overseas, a subsidiary of China Logistics Group:
With the strategic involvement of three key investors, namely China Eastern Airlines, China COSCO Shipping Corporation Ltd, and China Merchants Group, China Logistics Group operates in close coordination to drive its strategic initiatives. China Logistics has a registered capital of 30 billion RMB and a strong presence both domestically and internationally. Its operations span across 30 provinces within China, as well as five continents worldwide. Sinologistics Overseas, a Singapore Company, is its first overseas subsidiary and we are looking for like minded individuals to build and expand the overseas market with us!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and screening potential merger and acquisition (M&A) targets within the transportation and supply chain industry.
- Conduct in-depth financial, operational, commercial, and market analyses as part of the investment due diligence process.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decision-making.
- Prepare investment presentations, deal memoranda, and supporting materials for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
- Support the negotiation and structuring of transaction terms in coordination with senior team members and external advisors.
- Work closely with internal legal, finance, and operations teams during deal execution and post-transaction integration.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments that may impact investment strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or M&A advisory, preferably with exposure to logistics, supply chain, or transportation sectors.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with proven experience in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present findings to senior leadership.
- Solid understanding of deal structuring, investment risks, and value drivers.
- Knowledge of M&A regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin, as the role involves due diligence, negotiations, and investment committee reporting, which may require communication with stakeholders in both languages.
