Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
  Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency corrective maintenance on semiconductor metrology systems to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Technical Troubleshooting:
  Diagnose technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize system downtime.
• Customer Support:
  Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during on-site service visits; provide clear technical guidance and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs, system status reports, and repair documentation.
• Tool Expertise:
  Work with complex defect inspection or review tools and ensure calibration and functionality are aligned with specifications.

Requirements:

• Experience in semiconductor equipment servicing, preferably in a metrology or inspection tool environment.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor process flow and equipment interaction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
• Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment.
