Network & Systems Engineer – Regional IT Infrastructure
Location: Singapore (with regional scope)
Industry: Life Sciences / Healthcare / Diagnostics
Travel: Occasional regional travel (approx. twice a year)

A regional life sciences group is seeking a Network & Systems Engineer to support and evolve its enterprise IT infrastructure across Southeast Asia. The role blends system administration, cloud and virtualization management, network security , and end-user support , contributing to regional digital transformation and operational excellence in the healthcare space.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and support enterprise IT systems including servers, storage, endpoints, IP phones, and software platforms.
• Administer services such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), and Hyper-V.
• Support network infrastructure and security (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN).
• Deliver Level 1 & 2 support and oversee onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Lead or support IT projects, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and asset inventories.
• Mentor junior IT staff and liaise with vendors for ongoing services and support.

Requirements :

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT network/system administration roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, M365, AD, and network security.
• Familiar with virtualization (Hyper-V), storage systems, and endpoint management.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support users across different locations.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel regionally when needed.

Preferred Skills / Certifications :

• MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent certifications.
• PowerShell scripting and process automation.
• Experience with backup solutions, ERP systems (e.g., NAVISION), and disaster recovery planning.
