Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, cooking, and presentation of authentic Hunan dishes;
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen staff schedules;
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and consistency, ensuring high standards;
  • Develop new dishes and seasonal menus based on Hunan cuisine traditions;
  • Manage inventory, control food costs, and coordinate procurement needs;
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and regulatory compliance;
  • Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 20 years of culinary experience in Hunan cuisine, with at least 10 years in a supervisory or head chef role;
  • Deep understanding of traditional Hunan cooking techniques and flavors;
  • Prior experience working in reputable restaurants in China or Singapore is required;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a hands-on approach;
