Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, cooking, and presentation of authentic Hunan dishes;
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen staff schedules;
- Monitor food quality, taste, and consistency, ensuring high standards;
- Develop new dishes and seasonal menus based on Hunan cuisine traditions;
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and coordinate procurement needs;
- Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and regulatory compliance;
- Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum 20 years of culinary experience in Hunan cuisine, with at least 10 years in a supervisory or head chef role;
- Deep understanding of traditional Hunan cooking techniques and flavors;
- Prior experience working in reputable restaurants in China or Singapore is required;
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills;
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a hands-on approach;
