Kitchen Team Leader (Junior Sous Chef) Modern Japanese Concept | Up to $3,000 | 5/6 Days Work Week


  • Prep and cook core Japanese dishes (donburi, sashimi, grilled items, etc.) with precision and pride
  • Support the Head Chef to keep the kitchen running like clockwork
  • Take the lead when needed
  • Maintain solid hygiene and food safety practices
  • Keep an eye on food presentation so every dish looks as good as it tastes


  • At least 2 years in a professional kitchen (bonus points if it's Japanese cuisine)
  • Knows your tools: knife, fryer, grill
  • Calm, focused, and reliable
  • Willing to work weekends and public holidays
  • Hungry to learn, ready to lead

The Offer (What’s on the Plate):

  • Salary range: $2,700 – $3,000/month (based on experience)
  • Choice of 5 or 6-day work week
  • Staff meals provided
  • Work with a Head Chef who actually enjoys mentoring
  • Opportunity to grow into a Sous Chef role
