Kitchen Team Leader (Junior Sous Chef) Modern Japanese Concept | Up to $3,000 | 5/6 Days Work Week
- Prep and cook core Japanese dishes (donburi, sashimi, grilled items, etc.) with precision and pride
- Support the Head Chef to keep the kitchen running like clockwork
- Take the lead when needed
- Maintain solid hygiene and food safety practices Keep an eye on food presentation so every dish looks as good as it tastes
- At least 2 years in a professional kitchen (bonus points if it's Japanese cuisine)
- Knows your tools: knife, fryer, grill
- Calm, focused, and reliable
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays
- Hungry to learn, ready to lead
The Offer (What’s on the Plate):
- Salary range: $2,700 – $3,000/month (based on experience)
- Choice of 5 or 6-day work week
- Staff meals provided
- Work with a Head Chef who actually enjoys mentoring
- Opportunity to grow into a Sous Chef role
