Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Installation Activities: Execute and supervise the on-site installation and deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at customer locations, ensuring all work meets engineering and safety standards.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, project management) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, suppliers) to ensure seamless execution of installation and commissioning projects.
• System Commissioning & Testing: Perform commissioning procedures, system testing, troubleshooting, and validation of BESS to ensure operational readiness and grid or generator integration.
• Electrical Integration: Install and configure electric distribution boxes and ensure correct electrical connections, including interfacing with diesel generators where applicable.
• Technical Expertise: Apply solid understanding of diesel generators, electrical distribution systems, inverters, and power electronics to effectively install and integrate energy systems.
• High-Voltage & Safety Compliance: Work safely with high-voltage systems, following industry best practices and site-specific safety protocols for energy storage and electrical systems.
• Documentation & Reporting: Interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams; document work performed and provide detailed reports on installation progress, testing results, and system performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience installing and commissioning energy storage or power systems
• Strong understanding of diesel generators, inverters, and electrical distribution
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and single-line diagrams
• Knowledge of high-voltage systems and safety practices in the energy sector
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in field environments
