Technical Executive (Audio Visual Lighting) - Indoor Attraction

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AV and control hardware
• Troubleshoot and repair AV-related electrical and mechanical faults, such as power failures, overheating, motorized rigging malfunctions, and signal issues.
• Maintain an inventory of AV equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
• Understand and work with electrical circuits, relays, and voltage ratings for AV systems.
• Provide technical support for internal/external stakeholders events.
• Set up and operate AV systems, ensuring seamless audio-visual performance.
• Any other relevant duties as assigned.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AV systems, AV system operation, installation, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for AV, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills with various departments
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends/public holidays may be required
• Physically capable of lifting and installing AV equipment.
• Certifications in Work At height and Mobile Elevating Work Platform (e.g., Boomlift, Scissors Lift, Aerial Work Platform) are a plus.
