- Site Supervision : Oversee the day-to-day operations on the construction or industrial site, ensuring all work progresses according to schedule.
- Workforce Management : Supervise, coordinate, and lead multiple teams of workers (e.g., laborers, supervisors, and contractors).
- Project Implementation : Ensure project specifications are followed accurately, managing work crews and contractors to meet deadlines.
- Safety Management : Enforce and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Work Planning : Develop work schedules, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure that the required resources are available.
- Quality Control : Ensure that work complies with quality standards, government regulations, and client expectations.
- Communication : Act as the primary point of contact between workers, supervisors, and project managers.
- Equipment Management : Ensure equipment is functioning properly, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
- Troubleshooting : Identify problems on-site and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Material Management : Ensure the procurement, delivery, and proper storage of materials, and minimize waste.
- Progress Monitoring : Monitor project timelines and costs, reporting any discrepancies or delays to higher management.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate records of daily operations, work progress, and incidents, and submit regular reports to upper management.
- Crew Training : Train workers on new techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use as necessary.
