At Sunny Bunny Montessori, we provide a nurturing, premium learning environment that combines the Montessori philosophy with responsive caregiving for infants aged 2 to 18 months. We cater to discerning parents who seek exceptional care and early education for their babies.


Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Infant Care Principal to lead our infant care centre. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in an infant care or childcare setting, alongside the relevant early childhood qualifications recognised by ECDA.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure a safe, hygienic, and engaging environment for infants
  • Lead and support a team of educarers to uphold high standards of care and curriculum delivery
  • Ensure compliance with ECDA regulations and licensing requirements
  • Foster positive relationships with parents through regular communication and updates
  • Manage enrolment, staffing, and operational matters effectively
  • Implement developmentally appropriate programmes tailored for infants
  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations for the infant care team
  • Maintain proper documentation, incident reports, and centre records

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership or senior educarer role in an infant care/childcare setting
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE-T), or Higher Certificate in Infant Care, or other ECDA-recognised qualifications
  • Certified Infant Educarer under ECDA’s framework
  • Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • Warm, empathetic and confident in leading a team of educarers
  • Must be passionate about working with infants and building a nurturing environment for children and staff alike
