Technical Superintendent (Marine)

Job Description

• Overseeing the technical operations of the in-charged tankers

• Manage daily maintenance and repair activities, budget survey schedules, and docking operations.

• Maintain updated records of class status and coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors for daily operations.

• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under ISM, ISPS, and MLC.

• Monitor, coordinate, and attend vessel inspections by oil majors, statutory surveys, and follow up on related matters.

• Carry out onboard technical inspection and prepare the technical inspection report.

• Assist safety department to Conduct and report on incident/accident investigations.

Requirements:

• Sea-going experience as a Chief Engineer on tanker vessel, shore experience as technical superintendent will be more preferred.

• Holding valid COC (Class 1).

• Strong organizational skills with a hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Willingness and ability to travel for overseas on short notice as needed.
