Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise, guidance, and support during the presales process for CCTV, networking or security technology solutions
• Pre-sales support including a full range of company products, network technical solutions, highlights proposals, etc
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers, showcasing the features and capabilities of the solutions
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions
• Engage with customers during the presales process to address technical questions, concerns and offer technical advice and guidance to customers, ensuring their solution needs are met and solved
• Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and industry development, competitive products and emerging technologies to enhance solution offerings
• Provide training and support to the sales team on the technical aspects of products and solutions, as well as post-sales activities such as troubleshooting and after-sales support
• Work closely with other departments, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment on product features and messaging

Job Requirements:

• Min. 2 years of experience in presales engineering or technical sales, preferably within the CCTV, networking or security technology industry
• Strong understanding of CCTV, networking or security technologies and market trends
• Excellent technical knowledge and proven ability to develop technical solutions and proposals, along with strong problem-solving skills to provide comprehensive solutions to align with customer requirements
• Experienced in handling and troubleshooting technical issues
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to CCTV, networking or security technology industry
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate Mandarin effectively as the incumbent requires to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders/counterparts for work or project related matters
