A Project Drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans to support the design and construction of projects. They work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce accurate and clear documentation for the development of construction, engineering, and manufacturing projects.


Key Tasks:

1) Prepare detailed drawings and plans based on project specifications, designs, and measurements.

2) Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create, modify, and finalize technical drawings.

3) Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accuracy and clarity in designs.

4) Review and revise drafts to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.

5) Maintain and organize project documentation, including revisions and updates to drawings.

6) Assist in creating layouts, schematics, and diagrams for construction, mechanical, or electrical projects.

7) Provide support in the development of 3D models and prototypes.

8) Help with material selection and ensure designs are cost-effective and practical.

9) Communicate with clients or stakeholders to gather design input and make necessary revisions.

10) Ensure all drawings and plans are completed within the set deadlines and budget.

11) Other Assignments

a. Shall carried out any project / task / work assigned by Immediate Supervisor, General Manager and Directors as and when required to support the business.

b. Shall pick up Autocad and equip with drafting and design works


Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of engineering or architectural principles and design processes.


1) Education

  • Diploma or Degree in business or marketing or engineering

2) Knowledge / Experience / Others

  • PC literate (Microsoft words, excel and power point).
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

  • Good communication skills
  • Good team player
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
