Under the guidance and supervision of the Channel In Charge, working together with the Singapore Marketing team, to manage the accounts assigned and secure sustainable growth in revenue and profit, while ensuring investments are kept within given budget, Channel Executive (HORECA) is responsible and accountable for best-in-class execution and delivery of key commercial objectives and Brand presentation in the HORECA Channel for the Singapore market across TEG portfolio.


Make an Impact

  • Convassing for sales and account servicing for Singapore market, focusing on HORECA channels - Hotels, Restaurants, Membership Clubs
  • Supports Channel In Charge with business unit monthly sales performance reporting and promotion calendar
  • Achieve and exceed the sales plan crafted for HORECA to meet growth targets and sustain TEG's market leadership in the competitive landscape
  • Deliver best-in-class HORECA distribution segmentation and strategic visibility with The Macallan as primary focus through implementation of relevant On Trade activations and strategic collaboration with key accounts to elevate the salience and equity at Trade
  • Liaising with the Marketing team to implement Below-The-Line (BLT) consumer promotions across HORECA channels
  • Ensure high quality trade activation in terms of programme planning and implementation, in partnership with internal functions when/where relevant (Marketing and Boutique) to maximize brand impact in a cohesive and consistent manner
  • Follow governance and controls process for HORECA spend budgets e.g. T&E, selling cost management in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Ensure outlet contracts are managed and approved using Sales Investment Tool following company guidance, tracked and organised in a central depository
  • Assist Channel In Charge to develop new business channel for sales opportunities e.g. Fine Dining Restaurants

Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish, manage and maintain strong relationships with key outlet customers throgh sales call visits to achieve defined sales plan and prepare for furture growth opportunities
  • Build strong relationship with strategic HORECA accounts
  • Effectively negotiate outlet contracts with customers with the ain to achieve win-win with trade customers while maximizing trade investment ROI and optimising use of price support/ selling cost budget

Reporting

  • Conduct daily sales call report on day-to-day business engagements with trade customers and update Sales Force app
  • Regularly update distribution data on Sales Force and Power BI tools
  • Regularly update the Singapore Commercial team on Sales trends, competitor activities and industry trends

Your Talent and Skills

Professional Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Sales, preferrablty with HORECA sales experience
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Energetic, confident, self-motivated and ability to handle multiple / diverse tasks
  • Strong planning and analytical skills, ability to adapt to change
  • Possess sound project management capabilities with a meticulous eye for detail

Knowledge

  • Understanding of the HORECA dynamics and outlet universe in Singapore
  • Existing network from HORECA channel

Skills and Abilities

  • Driven, self motivated, proactive and positive with a can-do mindset
  • Strong negotiattion, numerical and analytical skilss
  • Strong interpersonal, customer relation and communication skills
  • Knowlede in MS Office, Sales Force and Power BI
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Mandarin Chinese and local dialects
