This role is ideal for individuals who are seeking a rewarding opportunity in claims and reinsurance with a global organization Role purpose: Working with our Global Claims Operations team, you will provide essential support to our International Reinsurance Claims team in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Receiving, indexing and distribution of claims correspondence, in all formats under different systems, to the appropriate parties
  • Receiving new losses, verifying accuracy of information via coverage, and completing data entry of initial file setup
  • Entering reserves, payments and other financial transactions, as required
  • Performing quality review analysis of claims data for accuracy in accordance with established procedures and internal controls
  • Document management and entering data in various reinsurance claims systems
  • Providing operational support to Claims management, Claims technical staff and our internal and external customers / stakeholders
  • Any other duties as directed
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
  • Minimum Tertiary Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year working experience in the insurance / reinsurance industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
  • Familiarity with electronic document management applications (OnBase, P2P or B2B, SharePoint, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to read Chinese will be helpful

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities, ensuring accuracy and identifying inconsistencies.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Positive and adaptable, able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
