QA/QC

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, standards, and approved drawings.
• Monitor and verify the quality of materials and workmanship on-site.
• Conduct inspections at various stages: incoming materials, in-process construction, and final handover.
• Ensure all quality documentation is up to date and filed systematically for audits.
• Verify the calibration of testing tools and equipment used on-site.
• Coordinate with third-party testing agencies when required.
• Ensure construction activities meet local, international, and project-specific standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ACI, BS).
• Check subcontractors’ and suppliers’ compliance with quality standards.
• Liaise with site engineers, consultants, and contractors on quality issues.
• Participate in coordination meetings to address quality-related concerns.
• Support QA/QC Manager in project audits and client inspections.
• Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow up to ensure issues are resolved and closed properly.
• Implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant Engineering field.
• 3–5 years of minimum relevant experience in construction QA/QC
• Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and QA/QC software tools.
