We are seeking a versatile academic to join our faculty, with expertise in both Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) and Quantitative Methods (QM) . The ideal candidate will teach across disciplines, integrating operations theory with data-driven decision-making. A minimum of 3 years’ tertiary-level teaching experience in these subject areas is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field (PhD preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of higher education teaching experience in both logistics/supply chain and quantitative analysis.
  • Strong foundation in SCM topics (e.g., procurement, inventory, transportation, warehousing) and quantitative/statistical techniques (e.g., forecasting, optimization, decision analysis).
  • Proven ability to integrate theory with practical applications and analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in logistics, operations, and quantitative methods.
  • Develop and update course materials aligned with learning outcomes and industry practices.
  • Design applied assessments using real-world logistics data and quantitative tools.
  • Supervise capstone projects, theses, or student consultancy work related to SCM and analytics.
  • Participate in academic administration, curriculum development, and quality assurance.
  • Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to research and/or consultancy projects.

Desirable Competencies:

  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel (advanced), SPSS, R, Python, or Tableau/Power BI.
  • Familiarity with supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP, SCM systems, SAP).
  • Industry certifications like CSCP, SCOR, or Lean Six Sigma are an added advantage.
  • Experience in simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) or logistics modeling tools.
  • Capability to teach both analytical and applied SCM subjects.
