We are hiring an experienced Relationship Manager to join our team in Singapore. This is a regulated position requiring the individual to be appointed as a representative under the Financial Advisers Act (FAA) and/or Securities and Futures Act (SFA), depending on the activities performed.


The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of relevant experience and be responsible for acquiring, managing, and deepening relationships with high-net-worth clients from North Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan), offering suitable wealth management solutions in line with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of Accredited and Institutional Investors from North Asia.
  • Provide advice on investment products, collective investment schemes, and other financial instruments, in compliance with the FAA/SFA.
  • Ensure all advisory activities are suitable, well-documented, and in the best interest of clients.
  • Stay current with MAS regulations, macroeconomic trends, and new financial product developments.
  • Liaise effectively with compliance, legal, and risk functions to ensure proper client onboarding, AML/CFT measures, and ongoing surveillance.
  • Prepare and maintain proper records of recommendations, risk profiling, investment rationale, and client reviews as required under MAS regulations.
  • Adhere strictly to MAS Notices and Guidelines, including FAA-N03, FAA-N16, FAA-G04, and applicable AML/CFT regulations


Regulatory & Certification Requirements

  • Appointed representative under FAA and/or SFA.
  • Meets MAS fit and proper criteria under the Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria [FSG-G01].
  • Completion of relevant CMFAS modules prior to appointment


Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in relationship management, private banking, or regulated financial advisory.
  • Proven success with North Asian clients; familiarity with regional regulatory norms and client expectations.
  • Strong product knowledge across investment, treasury, structured, and wealth planning products.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to serve North Asian client needs.
  • Holds a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Additional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CFP, IBF) preferred


Other Considerations

  • This role may be subject to enhanced supervisory oversight under MAS’ Individual Accountability and Conduct (IAC) framework, depending on the firm’s classification and role mapping.
  • Must adhere to the firm’s Code of Conduct, Conflicts of Interest policies, and client suitability frameworks
